Golf continues to be fun in New Zealand. Winter is their main season for golf, despite the cold temperatures, wet days and heavy frost. There are no frost delays. "Frost delays are for wimps", they say :0). Almost all golfers walk, no carts, and push or pull a trundler. Here is a picture of our friend, Nick Pollard, getting initiated into golf NZ style.

We still continue to win tins of fruit for prizes and if we are lucky we go home with a frozen chicken or some kind of meat plate. Wine and chocolate bars also seem to be the choice of prizes. We won't go hungry so long as our games continue to go well.
