Family Visit

We have been very lucky to have Jen's sister and family visiting for the holidays.  They have been here for 3 weeks and have seen a lot of the South Island.  The weather has cooperated for the most part, as have the fish! Jen, Nick and Jack at Lake Wanaka.  (That is as close as the camera is going to get to her "bump" for now for those of you who have requested.)The whole family on a glacier looking at Mt. Cook, the tallest mountain in New Zealand.  We were lucky enough to catch great weather and a friend who flies helicopters.  What a trip! An updated photo of the two of us around Mt. Cook.  Golf in New Zealand is very affordable.  We are enjoying our membership at the Methven Golf Club.  A very popular country golf course with many challenges including this "pond".  However, the membership is quite helpful as they offer you a pair of gumboots and a ball retriever in case you go in the pond.  There aren't many golf carts here, most people choose to walk with a trundler or a pull cart.  Most golf courses range from $10-$25 greens fees and they are worth every cent!

We love all your photos and bits of information about NZ. Keep them coming! I have finally figured out how to post comments! Enjoy your summer break!
