A Good Day Fishing

Courtney got out for a good morning of fishing with an old friend, Dr. Steve. Fished a river only 20 km from the house. They saw 30+ fish and hooked into about 10 a piece. Both of them, however, only landed 2. Most were big enough to break off light tackle in a stream full of willows. Average fish seemed to be 18-20 inches and 2-3 pounds. They did hook into a number of fish up to 5 pounds. Unfortunately, Dr. Steve isn't very good at photography and missed quite a few pictures. Here are a few to give you a taste of the experience.

We are so sorry for not keeping in touch, we are having a cold day and snowy...still have not seen the sun since christmas except for one day. The girls have a ski race on sunday and Mitz has a formal race suit.......SPEED...Life is good here yet sad news of 2 young people in the community have passed away this week so it has been emotional to say the least. One young man was the son of a Dr your dad works with up here and he took his own life. I am going to post this and let the girls chat for awhile and when we figure out our new computor send photos. Love ya and I feel like ernie looks in those pictures on the bed. MJ
