Merry Christmas

We were lucky enough to be able to fly home to Colorado over the holidays.  We had not been home for 2 years so it was a welcomed sight when we arrived and saw family there to greet us.
Charlie traveled well.  Anything he could get his hands on (magazines, earphones, dad's book, cups...) helped to pass the time.  Our travels from door to door ended up being 31 hours with layovers.  It was rough, but we all survived.

We were lucky enough to be able to travel to North Carolina to have Charlie meet his great grandmother.  Nana is 97 years old.  He was able to bring a smile to her face and help her to communicate.  It was a very special time.

We enjoyed the first few weeks in Denver.  We had to get used to the altitude after having been away for so long.  Christmas was spent with Jen's family.  It was great to watch what Charlie thought about Santa.  Lots of photos were taken.

I don't know why we even bothered to do gifts for Charlie.  He loved the paper, bows, and boxes well enough to look exhausted after an hour of fun.

See the next entry for our further travels and time with Court's family.
